Управление ростером и permadeath

Permadeath Rules
Units destroyed in battle are gone for the rest of the campaign. Squads replenish a small number of models after winning, but if all models die, the entire unit is removed from your roster.
This means every battle has permanent consequences. A Pyrrhic victory where you lose your best Tier 3 unit is often worse than a clean loss against a skippable node.
When to Fight vs Skip
Not every battle node must be fought. If your army is damaged and a rest node is available on another path, take it. Elite battles with a weakened roster lead to cascading losses.
Auto-resolve is available pre-battle. Use it only when heavily favored — the AI does not match human tactical play and can waste your units.
Preserving Elite Units
Tier 3-4 units are irreplaceable mid-campaign. Pull them from fights when damaged. Use cheap chaff to absorb damage while elites clean up.
Rest nodes can heal or upgrade units. Always heal elites over upgrading chaff. A healthy Tier 3 unit is worth more than a promoted Tier 1.
